Short summary

OUH has 21 highly specialized treatments that no other hospital in Denmark provides, OUH would like to be able to demonstrate and document high professional treatment quality both at house level and specialty level. The model includes development in 3 areas: - Tools for decision support in relation to clinical treatment. - There is a continuous focus on specialty planning using decision support. - Data reuse, i.e. primarily EPJ SYD.

Rationale

OUH must be able to document the quality of highly specialized treatments that OUH has a monopoly on. Indicators are developed for each area to document the quality of the highly specialized treatment. OUH wants to influence the Danish Health Authority's specialty planning through documentation of high quality in these areas.

Description of the cohort

The cohorts will be across specialties, age group and diagnoses due to the 21 highly specialized functions.
