Questionnaire for the clinical hepatologists: Hepatic encephalopathy and traffic safety

Short summary

Patients with liver cirrhosis and hepatic encephalopathy have proven to be unsafe drivers. Traffic safety and hepatic encephalopathy is a new topic in hepatology. We distributed a questionnaire regarding this to 300 clinical hepatologists to uncover clinical practice. The results will lay the grounds for a discussion on the hepatic encephalopathy workshop at the EASL International Liver Congress.

Description of the cohort

We included 300 actively publishing hepatologists. Their email addresses were found via PubMed by searching publications fitting the terms "hepatic encephalopathy" published from 2009-2015.

Data and biological material

Data consists of answers from questionnaire.
