Women in labour and their newborn are invited to participate with blood samples and swabs which will be investigated for SARS-Cov-2

Rationale

To gain knowledge about pregnancy outcome in COVID-19 infected women and the risk of transfer of the virus to their newborn

Description of the cohort

For a period all women in labour at Aarhus University HospitaI and Sygehus Lillebaelt. Later only prevoiously or currently COVID infected women.

Data and biological material

Blood samples from mothers and umbilical cord. Swabs from mother and newborn.
