Adherence to adrenalin autoinjector prescriptions and immunotherapy in anaphylaxis patients with special focus on venom allergy (A3PIA)

Short summary

To perform a questionnaire study among patients seen during the 10 year period to evaluate the self-reported course and to link these data to retrieval rates for adrenaline (AAI) and venom immunotherapy (VIT).

Rationale

Primary endpoint: Self-reported course (duration, place for treatment, side-effects) of VIT, including causes for non-adherence to VIT. Secondary endpoints: Evaluation of the self-reported severity of the primary reaction, co-morbidity, symptoms by re-sting and QoL in relation to adherence to AAI and VIT.

Description of the cohort

Patients, seen in the Allergy Center between 1.1.2010-31.12.2019, with a diagnosis of venom allergy and registered for venom immunotherapy.
