National database of local anaesthetic thoracoscopy.

Rationale

Local anaesthetic thoracoscopy is used for diagnostic of pleural disease including malignant mesothelioma. The procedures is rarely used, since the ilnesses do not occur often. This datebase will therefor collect data, to ensure a national overview of how the procedures are conducted, risk and results.

Description of the cohort

Patient undergoing examination for disease of the pleura

Data and biological material

The database will consist of information from patient records as well as information on the procedure, provided by the operator.
