- A QUALITATIVE EXPLORATIVE STUDY OF PATIENTS´ PERSPECTIVES AND PREFERENCES
Short summary
The aim of this qualitative study is to explore the perspectives and preferences of pressure ulcer treatment in patients suffering from spinal cord injuries.
Rationale
Individuals with spinal cord injuries are in a life long increased risk of developing pressure ulcers. The success of treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers in this population depends on active participation of patients.
Description of the cohort
Adults suffering from spinal cord injuries with personal experience in pressure ulcer treatment in the Danish healthcare system.
