Short summary

Patient experiences in quality of chiropractic care are collected in a national survey study. All patients who seek chiropractic care in any of 254 clinics in Denmark are invited to fill in a questionnaire. Results will be analyzed and reported at national and regional levels and every participating clinic will receive individual reports for the purpose of quality improvement.

Rationale

Incorporating patient experiences into health care may improve the quality of care and contribute to better health outcome. Patient experiences in quality of care in the chiropractic field has not been collected in a national setting. Therefore the aim of this study is to investigate patient experiences in the quality of chiropractic care.

Description of the cohort

All patients who seek chiropractic care in Denmark throughout a study period of two weeks will be invited to fill out a questionnaire. There are a total of 254 Chiropractic Clinics in Denmark who will participate in the enrollment of patients. The expected patient flow during the test period is 14.000 patients.
