Short summary

A Validation study of the danish version of the Alcohol Use Disorder Identification Test (AUDIT).


Rationale

The Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) is a screening tool designed to help identify people, who could have an excessive drinking habit and to help assess the severity of it. It is used in many medical settings, populations, and worldwide, though it is not validated in Denmark.


Description of the cohort

Including both in- and outpatients from the Department of Gastrointestinal Diseases, University Hospital of Southern Denmark (OUH).

Participants have to be at the age of 18 or above and able to read and understand danish.


Data and biological material

Questionnaire data.
