Remotion Database

Short summary

The ReMotion Total Wrist System is intended for replacement of the painful wrist joint due to rheumatoid arthritis, osteo-arthritis, or post-traumatic arthritis. For research and quility control purposes, we collect a series of data on no less than 100 and no more 200 patient. Follow-up will be no less than 10 years.


Rationale

The standard treatment for painfull wrist arthritis when conservative treatment has failed is wrist fusion. The Remotion wrist arthroplasty seeks to preserve wrist motion, but the long term implant survival and patient satisfaction needs to be studied furter.


Description of the cohort

Patients who painfull wrist arthritis who are eligible for total wrist arthroplasty.
