SafeCare
Short summary
The app SafeCare is intended to increase the level and feeling of competence of the nurses. To measure the effect of the app, a questionnaire is filled in by the nurse before and after using the app.
Rationale
Thirty nurses employed at the Department of Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Odense University Hospital cover the acute reception of rape victims. The nurses' knowledge and level of competence concerning the standard procedures undertaken in these situations are challenged by the time interval of which the individual nurse experience contact with victims of rape.
Description of the cohort
Nurses with contact to the victims of rape at Center for Voltægtsofre, Odense University Hospital.
Data and biological material
Questionnaire filled in before and after using the app by 30 nurses.
