Short summary

The project is a qualitative project analysing how a hospital ward could handle an unforeseen acute incident. 

The purpose of the study is to understand how staff where working and what made them capable of handling the situation based on the literature of resilient organizing. 


Rationale

The project is a qualitative project analysing how a hospital ward could handle an unforeseen acute incident. 

The purpose of the study is to understand how staff where working and what made them capable of handling the situation. The analysis is based on a resilience perspective and focus is to get a better understanding of how organisations can support staff in acting resiliently.

The study is based on interviews with 5 key staff members who all where very much involved in handling the situation and 1 leader of the ward.
