Lunge ultralydstræning med Virtual Reality
Short Summary
Based on a systematic review about lung ultrasound training and a delphi study we want to investigate the evidence regarding different training modalities and delevop a web-based training course. The course will be evaluated in a multicenter randomized trial comparing it with traditional classroom teaching. In parallel, a qualitative study will explore barriers to achieving certification after course completion.
Rationale
The use of focused lung ultrasound is increasing among different healthcare professionals but the are no national or international requirements to certification or education and few available theoretical courses.
Description of the cohort
Physicians attending an ultrasound course in one of the national Simulation centres and physicians at different departments aiming to implement focused thoracic ultrasound will be included in the study and the use of focused lung ultrasound in the clinic will be evaluated.
